2. Hazards Identification

Irritating to eyes and skin. May cause sensitization by skin contact: Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.


3. Composition/ Information on Ingredients

Hazardous Components:

Bisphenol A (Epichlorhydrin)

Cas Number: 25068-38-6

Percentage: 10-30%

Classification: (Xi) R36/38, R43; (N) R51/53


4. First Aid Measures

Summon immediate medical assistance after contact with skin, eyes, inhalation or ingestion

Eyes: There may be irritation and redness

Skin: There may be irritation and redness at site of contact

Ingestion: There may be soreness and redness of the mouth and throat

Inhalation: There may be irritation of the throat with a feeling of tightness in the chest Exposure may cause coughing and wheezing.


5. Fire Fighting Measures

Extinguishing Media: Suitable extinguishing media for the surrounding fire should be used.

Exposure Hazards: In combustion emits toxic fumes

Fire Fighting Equipment: Wear self contained breathing apparatus, wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes.


6. Accidental Release Measures

Refer to Section Eight (8) of SDS for person protection details. Do not discharge into drains and rivers. Transfer to a suitable container.


7. Handling and Storage

Avoid direct contact with substance. Avoid incompatible materials and conditions–see section 10 of SDS. Must only be kept in original packaging.

Skin Protection: Protective clothing should be worn to avoid skin contact. PVC Gloves, Neoprene gloves, Nitrate gloves, Butyl gloves
